Eduardo Yero
OWNER, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Eduardo Yero has over 30 years of successful operations, management and leadership experience in the security arena. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Miami Beach Police Department after 26 years of service. Eduardo’s career focused on tactical operations and included responsibilities for terror threat mitigation, planning and operation of critical incidents, and the planning and management of large-scale events. He served as a Commander on the SWAT Team and participated in over 400 missions. As Lieutenant of Special Operations, Eduardo managed specialized units including Motorcycle Traffic Enforcement, K-9, Marine Patrol, Traffic Homicide and others.
After retiring and transitioning to the private sector, Eduardo joined G4S for several years including 2 years as General Manager of the Miami Office handling all aspects of the business. Eduardo later joined Allied Universal as the Director of Operations managing over 1,000 personnel and a portfolio of 37,000 hours per week including armed and unarmed guards and both private and government services. He is a graduate of the Executive Management Program from Northwestern University.
Eduardo is an avid cyclist and paddleboarder who has competed in both arenas.
Johann Lopez
OWNER, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Johann Lopez is a motivated and personable individual with over 20 years of successful general and operational security management experience across a wide variety of markets to include, healthcare, educational, governmental, commercial, and residential facilities.
Johann has established a proven and verifiable track record for meeting very challenging and complex organizational goals. He is an effective leader who recognizes the importance of teamwork and will inspire others to perform at a prominent level. During his active duty tour with the United States Marines, Johann's occupational specialty focused on security forces of both foreign and domestic governmental institutions while specializing in explosives. During his military tenure he rapidly advanced to the rank of Platoon Sergeant where he oversaw a team of over 40 Marines at the young age of 20.
Soon after, honorably separating from the military, Johann began his career with the reputable and formerly known, Wackenhut Corporation, in which he excelled for his expertise in managing a multitude of privately held contracts. This ultimately led to his oversight of the entire Miami-Dade County within G4S Secure Solutions as the Miami Operations Manager. Johann separated from G4S in 2017 after 16 years of service to pursue ownership of what today has become, Choice One Protection LLC. In addition to the industry expertise and experience, Johann also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
